Multi-specialty medical facility
comming to Plano
September 27, 2006 -
The Texas Clinic at Prestonwood (TTCAP) has broken ground in Plano. The
62,999 square foot multi-specialty outpatient medical office building
will be located on the northeast corner of Plano Parkway and Marsh
Lane.
“We are thrilled to be affiliated with one of the most
advanced medical centers in the country,” said Dr. Jim
Rellas, M.D. a cardiologist with Heart First. “This facility
will have a tremendous impact on our medical community and the
community at large.”
Rellas and his practice will be one of the TTCAP’s featured
physician groups.
The building, set on 4.17 acres of land, will include a 12,163 square
foot ambulatory surgical center, an imaging center equipped with a
Siemens 64 slice CT, a Siemens 3 Tesla MRI, a Hologic Digital
Mammography Unit, DEXA and 3D/4D Ultrasound, a six room sleep
diagnostics facility and two vaults for delivery of image guided
Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Sterotactic
Radiosurgery.
TTCAP will introduce to North Texas the first Varian Trilogy Linear
Accelerator. The Varian Trilogy Linear Accelerator is an ultra precise,
high-powered linear accelerator which aims radiation beams with
sub-millimeter accuracy through the use of an on-board CT scanner and
x-ray imaging done simultaneously with treatments.
Southwest Verity Capital is the independent developer and builder of
TTCAP and Jonathan Bailey Associates, an architectural firm, has
created the overall design.
The facility will be staffed with independent doctors and has been made
possible by a variety of independent investors.
